Jonathan Schrodt

Jonathan grew up in Midlothian, Texas, and his wife, Istamoy, grew up in Tajikistan in Central Asia. They have two sons at Waxahachie Prep, Liam, who is in 2nd grade, and Cyrus, who is in kindergarten. Jonathan and Istamoy served several years as missionaries in Central Asia and Turkey. 

Jonathan holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Criswell College. Jonathan is a Professional Real Estate Inspector and works with Property Doctors DFW. They are active members of their church, Stonegate.

The Schrodt Family is beginning their third year at Waxahachie Prep this year, and their support of the school and passion for serving has been evident from day one, as they have graciously volunteered to serve in the concession stands at games and helped out at field day and other WPA events. 

WPA has a culture and mission that drew us to enroll our boys knowing that Jesus is at the forefront of everything they learn. Being asked to join the board was a huge honor and responsibility that we felt God was asking us to step in to serve. We look forward to partnering with the school administration and parents to ensure all the students get the best education rooted in the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 1:7).
