“World Changers” and “Difference Makers” are terms that you will frequently hear Mr. Thompson speaking of when describing what our students should look like-- not only when they graduate from WPA, but as they grow in their faith and in their emotional and academic development.

Mr. Thompson brings with him over 26 years of experience in Christian School Education and Administration. He has led and served at schools in Texas and Tennessee with enrollments from 200 to 1200. His entire adult career has been in the service of either faith-based organizations or Christian Schools.

He holds strongly to Colossians 3:17 as one of his primary life verses, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

He has been married to the love of his life, Lucy, for 35 years. Lucy has also served in Christian schools as a teacher, school counselor, and an educational therapist. They were blessed with one child, a son, and now have a beautiful daughter-in-law and 3 precious grand girls (5, 3, 2) that live in San Antonio.

Mr. Thompson has brought great excitement and hope for things to come at Wax Prep! “Acquiring a new campus location, continuing growth in enrollment, and hiring great people for the team are all top priorities in my first year!” Brig Thompson
