Admission Process

Your journey with Waxahachie Prep Academy begins at Preview Night. Experience our campus, meet the people who make our community special, and discover how we partner with families to prepare students academically, spiritually, and personally. Fill out the form below to reserve your visit.

After attending a Preview Night, you will receive an email with a link to start the Student Application. There is a non-refundable application fee of $115.00 and must be submitted before your application is processed.

Our Admissions Director will schedule a Family Interview with your grade level principal. All perspective students are required to attend this interview.

Our Admissions Director will schedule a time for your student to take our Placement Test. For K5-2nd grade, the assessment will last 15-30 minutes. For 3rd-12th grades, the assessment will last 1.5-2 hours. The testing fees are as follows: K5-2nd grade is $50 and 3rd-12th grade is $75. You may pay by cash, check, or card on campus when testing takes place.

Prospective students are required to attend a shadow day of their grade level. This will be scheduled by the Admissions Director.

Our Admissions Director will schedule a Parent Interview with the Head of School. While students are encouraged to attend the Family Interview (step 3), the parent interview is for parents only.

Once students are accepted, our Admissions Director will contact families with next steps in the enrollment process. Our secondary students attend an advisory meeting with their grade level principal to create their schedule.
