Welcome to Mrs. Powell's Classroom Page

Hello. My name is Kim Powell and I am excited to be your child's 5th grade teacher this year. I have 35 years of experience teaching in elementary schools. I went to college at Stephen F. Austin State University and received my bachelor's and master's degrees.  My husband and I have been married 37 years and have two adult children. We have 2 grandchildren and twin granddaughters on the way. We attend church at Ellis County Cowboy Church.
